Marchin' into a new month... | March 2025 Monthly Favorites

How it is already March?! We surpassed winter (I'm sure some of us are happy about it) and finally bloomed into spring! Anyways, this month was a bit bumpy for me but I'm so relieved everything has smoothed out. I decided to take a social media detox near the end of last month and I've been feeling good (we'll see if I continue into next month...). Anyways here are the things I was into for this month- got a lot of goodness to share!

March 2025 Monthly Favorites Collage (most of them at least...)

Favorite Music (had a good round of music in both the rock & pop genres this month):

Favorite Coffee and / or Tea:

Favorite Workout Videos:

Favorite Book(s) I've Read and / or listened to as an audiobook via Spotify:

  • The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley (library pick): I wasn't too sure about this book by this author since I've read her twice before. However, this book was good- kept me on my toes, guessing towards the end, and the setting was a nice backdrop, too.

  • This Girl's a Killer by Emma C. Wells: This took a minute to get into too but I was hooked into the female main character's story, Cordelia Black's, from then here and out. It did help- humor wise- with being a bit of a twisted thriller read.

  • Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven (my March 2025 BOTM pick): This read was out of my genre wheelhouse- romantasy is one genre I don't gravitate towards too often. Anyways, it told the tale of Evelyn & Arden they are supernatural forces bound to one another. They have never made to their 18th birthday's. Also, Evelyn's little sister, Gracie is sick- this was hard for me to read but Gracie's humor + wit made it better to tolerate her storyline more. Evelyn & Arden travel through time as reincarnated souls and realize their love-hate for each other (this theme became common in the book). By the end, I was aching for Evelyn and wanting to hate the Mother from the Underrealm mentioned in the book. The ending of this read gave me a bit of hope for a sequel... Did like the read, took me a minute to get into (the only thing I nit-picked at) but after that it picked up very well.

  • The Co-Worker by Frieda McFadden: This is my second read of this widely popular author and was very different (in a good way) from the previous read (The Boyfriend) I read of hers. Definitely twisty towards the second half- didn't see half of these twists coming (some might, I definitely didn't).

  • At the Coffee Shop of Curiosities by Heather Webber: This was such a wholesome read with unexpected conicidences, love, magic and laughter. Definitely a good one!

  • The Life List by Lori Nelson Spielman: This was such a good read! It told the tale of Brett, our female main character, losing her mom from cancer and it discovering this list she wrote when she was 14. Each task she completes (whichever ones she didn't do) she receives a letter her mom wrote before she died. Brett discovers what's important in her life and what isn't- almost made me cry (I hate to admit). Like books like this!

  • On a Quiet Street by Seraphina Nova Glass: This was my second read from this author (the first was The Vacancy at Room 10- which I also liked) and it didn't disappoint! Kept me on a ride and I didn't see a lot of the twists coming (reason also I love thrillers too)!

  • The Stranger in the Mirror by Liv Constantine (library pick): This was a random find for me at my local library and I wasn't too sure in the beginning how I felt about it. Boy, was I wrong! This book picked up so well- the story intertwined nicely- and you had to figure out who to trust. Julian Hunter, our male main character in this read, was the most twisted & deranged person I've ever read about. You won't believe what he does in it! Shocked me to my core!

  • The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware (library pick): I was pleasantly surprised I ended up liking this book! Who am I kidding? Love a good mystery book- it was such a dark, atmospheric story with twists in spots I didn't see coming.

Favorite TV Show and / or Movie(s) I've Either Watched or Streamed (this was worth the wait if you yourself are a broadway music listener, like me for example):

That is all for the this month! I do hope you enjoyed reading this and possibly getting recommendations out of it! See you next month!
