Life now may become easy, but harder later on in life

Hey there! Man, I haven't done these blogs in a while; as you know, I am still on vacation and quite frankly I am enjoying it. I come home on 9/20/2011. Made dinner one night which was a vegetarian shepherd's pie with salad and a roll, and dessert which was my chocolate vegan cupcakes-MMM!!!! Went shopping and purchased a whole bunch of stuff including two shirts from Hot Topic (PATD & Paramore), hand sanitizers and body shimmer from Bath & Body Works, a Jack Skellington stuffed animal & grumpy mug also w/ purchasing the diamond edition of The Lion King which comes out in October plus lithographs of the film I got for free with buying it, and lots of things from Build-a-Bear for my bear Brittany. I have been having a wonderful time since I have been down here, like cleaning and chilling with my grandparents. Watched the VMAs on 8/28/2011, and it was really good. Lady GaGa was her male alter ego Jo Calderone the entire night and did a spectacular performance of "You & I"; also won for "Best Video with a Message" & "Best Female Video" for Born This Way. The other performances were okay due to the fact that most of it was rap/hip-hop to which I didn't care for but an alternative band named Young the Giant performed and did fantastic. Adele performed and was so good; did a Britney Spears look back with young girls dancing to her music from when she started and up to now and a Amy Winehouse tribute to which Bruno Mars performed "Valerie"; The fashions were okay, but some were impeccable!

The list of the VMA winners: Best Pop Video- "Til The World Ends"- Britney Spears, Best Rock Video- "Walk"- Foo Fighters, Best Hip-Hop Video- "Super Bass"- Nicki Minaj, Best Female Video- "Born This Way"- Lady GaGa, Best Male Video- "U Smile"- Justin Bieber, Best Collaboration Video-"ET"- Katy Perry ft. Kanye West, Video of the Year- "Firework" - Katy Perry, Best Video with a Message- "Born This Way"- Lady GaGa, Best New Artist- Tyler, The Creator; the other categories are available at MTV.com/

I know the VMAs were so exciting, but I've been wondering something about myself which is my weight. I've struggled all through my life to be the perfect size but the eating habits came on and so did the pounds; I was the complete opposite of my sister who was more active than I was. But I made a change and it was to become a vegetarian and I did and lost 15-20 lbs. from it. I've gained it back now due to lack of exercise and fast food. Sweets are my main weakness, they just sit there and look to be eaten but that was a definite no. I went back to exercising this week since I've been down here in South Carolina; mostly I do whatever comes to mind. That size is coming for me, it needs time to get there, here and now. I want my old body back, and it just doesn't want to but it will.

If you are going through something similar as my situation, you basically know what to do which is to eat healthy and exercise which will help you. I may not feel good some days to know I live in a world where skinny is not necessarily the rage, but we all come in different shapes and sizes. I may not be perfect, but I feel perfect in my own way everyday of my life. I look at a skinny chick, and think to myself, "Do I want to look like that?" Sometimes we can agree with it, but then we can't. I love myself just the way I am and if someone tries to change me because of my size I will not be going forward into that dilemma. Like Lady GaGa says, "I was born this way" and that statement reads true because a majority of the world can't see themselves for who they are. Even if you don't like pop music, listen to that song; it will make you feel good about yourself.

It doesn't matter whether you're skinny or pudgy, I will love you just as the same. Make the right choices now, and it will result in some shockingly good surprises. Be yourself, it's good for you.
