Are you JULYin'? Is it really time for a monthly favorites post? | July 2024

Hello, all! This month has been a bit much- the loss of a grandmother, workouts have been challenging me some, etc- and I'm looking forward to sharing all of the good things that I've been loving! Let's get into it!

Some of the July favorites featured: books, body care, and most importantly, coffee.

Favorite Music:

  • “Panoramic View” by AWOLNATION- This song I listened to a ton around the week of my grandmother's passing (the song has a soothing sound on me) and even though the song isn't about death necessarily- the whole vibe of it was very chill, cool and vibe-y. Enjoyed it! I'll link it- https://youtu.be/8-H0vrGZ-6w?si=hlg37ynjUHOBUbc1
  • “Rainbow” by Cage the Elephant- This song has such a laid-back vibe I dig about it- liked it! I'll link it- https://youtu.be/YBV-KqJrpcY?si=Du50rC5Ifjb9YPKB

Favorite Fashion Piece(s) / Accessories or For The Home Addition:

Favorite Coffee and / or Tea:

  • Kenya AA Karatu whole bean coffee from Trader Joe's- This coffee gave breakfast blend vibes (which I'm never mad about- breakfast blend is one of the few types I really like)- did enjoy! I'll link it: https://www.traderjoes.com/home/products/pdp/kenya-aa-karatu-small-lot-coffee-078341. The notes in this: black currant & cacao. It is also complex & balanced with a full body that is complimented by a citric acid structure.
  • Peet's Off the Grid coffee- This coffee had a nice nuttiness / smoothness to it; definitely a unique one from Peet's- I'll link it: https://www.peets.com/products/off-the-grid. The notes featured in this: smooth milk chocolate, almond butter & pear.

Favorite Body Care and / or Skincare:

Favorite Book(s) I've Read (been on another reading binge this month to which I'm not mad about):

Favorite Workout Videos:

Even within the month I was dealing with, some good things came out of it (which I'm never mad about at all). As I'm typing this today, I've got a fun evening planned with family to see Green Day (plus a few other openers- Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid, & an alt-rock girl group named the Linda Lindas) on their Saviors tour up in DC. I've been looking forward to this all month! Well with all of that being said, I'll see you for next month's favorites post!

Also, do something good for yourself today because you so deserve it!

Sending lots of love & light,
Lauren
